Abstract

This study wants to contribute to nurture an ecocentric spirituality, based on a critical re-reading of the biblical texts that offer us a holistic view of life and nature, in which the true image of God is Jesus, the source of the only life that circulates in everything that exists. It will be necessary to overcome a dangerous anthropocentrism and put all the lives of “our common home” at the center. An ecocentric pastoral is the realization of this spirituality, since ecology, that is, the “house” project that we want to build, must be the basis of all economies, that is, the rules for our “house” to function in function of full life.
