Francis of Assisi, peace comes from kissing the leper brother's face

Abstract

In this brief text on narrative theology, we will make a “historical-critical reading” of the life of Francis. Although presupposed, we will not present an exegetical study of Francisclarian sources. Our objective is more humble: to narrate, briefly, how the option for the poor emerged and developed in Francis' life and how he lived the spirituality of following Jesus Christ, in conformity with the poor.
